Charming beach retreat in Summerland! This attractive cottage has lovely ocean views and is just a short distance to the beach, Lookout Park, and the seaside town of Summerland. Built in 1998, this beautifully appointed home features cathedral ceilings, wide-plank flooring, loads of natural light, and a delightful open layout in the main living area. The private, ocean-view deck wraps around two sides of the home, and can be enjoyed almost all year round with our mild, seaside climate. The lovely living area features windows on three sides, a place to dine while watching the view, custom plantation shutters, and French doors that open onto the deck. The kitchen has that perfect beachy vibe with white cabinetry and appliances, high ceilings, and dark wood-look, easy care flooring. Plus, there’s a tall pantry for storage. The main bedroom has a built-in closet and drawers, high ceilings, and lovely afternoon light. This bedroom has its own mini-split a/c, too. The second room might be best used as an office or guest room because it’s pretty cozy; it has a skylight and built-in shelving where there once was a closet. There’s a stackable washer-dryer unit in the hall with storage above, forced-air heating, and another energy-efficient cooling unit in the living area. Parking is available right out front, and there’s room for a storage shed. This beautiful home is available furnished or unfurnished, and is move-in ready. Summerland by the Sea mobile home park is as delightful as it sounds. It’s an all-ages, homeowner-owned community, and is pet friendly. Space rent is just $401/month, and the community enjoys a pool, club house, and BBQ area. Two dogs and/or two cats are allowed; there is a hiking trail right next door; and, of course, the beach just down the hill!
